Korean startup Tomorrow Robotics unveils robot foundation model HABILIS Brain 0 (report)

Announced October 7, 2026

What happened

According to ZDNet Korea, Tomorrow Robotics unveiled the robot foundation model 'HABILIS Brain 0' on the 7th. The model takes in its surroundings and task instructions and turns them into robot grasping and movement actions. It combines GC-VLA technology, which generates actions, with GCRF technology, which corrects them. The company demonstrated logistics picking, packing and task recovery on Rainbow Robotics' RB-Y1, the UR5e and ROBOTIS' AI Worker.

Provider claims

The company said the model reached a final success rate of 99.55% on the LIBERO simulation benchmark and completed 400 consecutive successful logistics picks on the RB-Y1.

Why it matters

A Korean startup has released a VLA-type robot foundation model that runs on robot hardware from several makers. It is a test case for whether Korean-made physical AI models can be used in industrial settings.
